About the event

The CCP course will deal with the fundamentals of pistol use within a close combat scenario. The course will start off building the foundations in a live fire environment. The course will cover the following:

  • Marksmanship (grip, trigger control, follow thru, reset, sight alignment, sight picture)

  • Reloads (in various conditions and positions)

  • Malfunction Clearance (hasty and deliberate)

  • Kinesthetic alignment and awareness

  • In extremis weapons access
